Digital News Production Unit- How is ARMA keeping in touch?

In any project (especially a group one) it is extremely important to make sure that each member of the group is always up to date on what stage we are at in the projects development, and that each member is readily accessible at all times if they are needed. As such, myself, Roxanne, Andrei and Andy have started a group on facebook, where we keep each other posted on what is happening.

This is a very useful tool for us, as facebook allows us to share photographs, videos and files in real time, and using facebooks messenger service, we can get each others opinions and such in real time. We use this service almost every day and it has been exceptionally useful for us when using it to organize meetings and such.
An example of a message I sent showing the members of ARMA the books I researched for this unit.
We have also all signed up to Google Plus, which means we can actually have 4 way video conferences in order to discuss what stage we are at and also to talk in person. This is very useful, as talking over the phone restricts us to speaking directly to one person and one person only. Google Plus allows us to have the next best thing to always being with each other in person at all times.

Google Plus also has a feature where we can record this video conferences and play them back at a later date, which is useful if one member or so brings up a particular idea that needs to be looked at one again. of course, this is also useful for this blog, as the conference video can be uploaded here!
